Patricia and Tiny
About
Patricia showed an aptitude for creative endeavors at an early age. She was fortunate to have her mother and grandmother encourage her to pursue her talents.
Her grandmother, Ada "Tiny" Worthington, was an entrepreneur during the Depression. She started Cape Cod Fish Net Industries in 1933, initially constructing practical items from old fishing nets, which morphed into a fashionable women's trend. Artistic flair indeed runs in the family. Read more about Tiny.
Serendipity struck when a friend gave Patricia a set of pastels, and she was hooked. For the past 20 years, she immersed herself in pastels' soft texture, luminosity, and magic with a hiatus while raising her son Aidan.
Her childhood overlooking the Pamet River in Truro, surrounded by the ever-changing beauty of tidal flats and salt marshes, coalesced into an eye for capturing color, light, movement, and nature in her paintings.
Patricia’s life-long passion for dogs, horses and all things equestrian, as well as her skill as a chef, has led her on adventures throughout the country.
Please take some time to view her artwork, which includes studies of Cape Cod Bay, estuaries, ponds, and the ocean. ARTWORK page>>
